Book Review & Giveaway: Last Night I Swam With a Mermaid

RIGHT OF THE BAT–  I adored this book! Beautiful photography, whimsical story line, and my girls paid full attention to the ebbs and flows of what was happening. Can’t beat that for a bedtime story!

Last Night I Swam With a Mermaid is written by Kimberly Muller and photographed by the world renown photographer,  Michael Muller. It takes place in a world where a little girl meets a beautiful mermaid under the sea and takes her on an unforgettable journey. It leaves the ending a bit wide open for more books to come as well (I liked that).

Kimberly Muller, the author, believes that parents should lead by example: ”As parents it is our job to engage our children in a lasting and meaningful way. We must lead by example.” I whole heartily agree- not only with everyday examples but by using our own imaginations as well! Last Night I Swam With a Mermaid opens up the child’s mind in to a land of make believe.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of Last Night I Swam with a Mermaid will benefit Philippe Cousteau’s EarthEcho International (www.earthecho.org/), a nonprofit organization who’s mission is to empower youth to take action that restores and protects our water planet.

Last Night I Swam With A Mermaid is self-published with a suggested retail price of  $ 24.99.  Well worth the cost for a beautiful well written book!
